Join Our Team – Legal Lab Technical Coordinator

SKETCH is looking for a Legal Lab Technical Coordinator to join the team.

The Legal Lab Technical Coordinator will coordinate the technical development and dissemination of Legal Lab education modules and will work with and report to the Creative Director.

SKETCH Legal Labs is a project exploring the legal needs of QTBIPOC artists in Toronto and providing relevant education and connection to resources.

Folio is a SKETCH-developed online documentation tool that helps artists map their goals, track their progress, find the words to talk and write about their work, and link them directly to artistic opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the new FOLIO platform with the Indigenous Friends Association (IFA) and an independent developer for hosting course modules;
  • Update FOLIO database for integration to Legal Lab;
  • Prepare dissemination and sustainability strategies to share project results with partners;
  • Maintain and monitor the new FOLIO structure beta launch;
  • Support Creation of legal education quizzes, visual, and textual materials uploaded onto Thinkific, a hosting Platform;
  • Promote and host monthly legal panels and modules;
  • Choose developer and update FOLIO database for integration to Legal Lab with Creative Director
  • Report aggregate data on individual demographics and outcomes to Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) using the provided reporting template;
  • Prepare and submit a final report to the project funder.Credentials:
  • Experience in project management and coordination
  • Experience in equity work related to gender and race
  • Experience in advocacy around legal issues being faced by QTBIPOC communitymembers
  • Some experience in software development and quality control management.Other
  • Follows policies, procedures and Health & Safety standards and works in a safe manner;
  • Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to be able to navigate multiple activities and challenges (barriers/obstacles) with limited resources;
  • Good understanding of the creative process and arts practices;
