Inbound Marketing & Communications Consultant

SKETCH WORKING ARTS invites applications from qualified Consultants (individuals and organizations) to consult on SKETCH Inbound Marketing and Communications project from October 2023 to January 2024.

Issue date: September 1st, 2023

ABOUT SKETCH WORKING ARTS:

SKETCH Working Arts for Street-Involved and Homeless Youth (SKETCH) is a community arts organization that engages Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous and other racialized young people navigating poverty, living houseless, or on the margins to: experience the transformative power of the arts; build leadership and economic self-sufficiency in the arts; and cultivate environmental and social change through the arts.

SKETCH fills a gap in the social services sector by combining arts-based programming with wraparound support so youth can explore their creativity, meet their basic needs, and build transferable skills. We believe if young people engage and develop in the arts, they increase their resilience and agency to live well and lead, creating more inclusive and vibrant communities.

SKETCH is committed to ensuring that members of traditionally marginalized and equity-seeking groups, from a broad range of communities, apply for positions within the organization. SKETCH is dedicated to taking proactive steps to overcome historical patterns of discrimination in our society which have created barriers of race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, language, class, sexual orientation, and gender identity or expression resulting in the denial of their full participation in society. We prioritize qualified applications from those who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color, person with disabilities, women, queer, trans or non-binary persons or any combination of these intersections. SKETCH recognizes that people from these communities are most affected by homelessness and poverty in Toronto. We encourage you to self-identify in your application.
